A huge piece of FT RV life that I never thought I would have to worry about. Finding a full time place to park?! Last year before I bought my travel trailer I looked on the websites of all the RV parks in my area. Monthly costs ranged from $590 up to $1270 at places with full hook ups and all the amenities I needed. Laundry, WiFi, heated pool for the summer. The intention that I set last year was to TRAVEL. Even it is just in this province I wanted to get on the road and see things. After five months on the road however, exploring the US and Mexico I am back in Canada and had hoped to park for the summer while I work. Since my RV is in for servicing right now I thought this would be a great time to check out the parks and see what options that I have. However: I can’t find an RV park that has vacancy over the summer?! The websites don’t say they have no vacancy. And several of the ones I called have a wait list.  It makes sense over the summer – something I never considered – people are on vacation and all the parks are full. What has me stressed out is the fact that only a few of them even have space for the fall. I REALLY don’t want to be here – but never in a million years did I think that I would have an issue in the winter time. I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE.  I am once again doubting the idea of FT RV life.  Rent is through the roof here in Vancouver and the choices are limited if you have a dog. I feel like an idiot – I am scared and stressed and worried about where I will live now. I WILL FIGURE IT OUT. I ALWAYS DO. Just have to go back to the drawing board… Below this video are the links to the RV parks I checked out in this video. If you are thinking of visiting the Vancouver area there a lot more. Let me know if you have specific questions about any of these parks. This video was not intended as a review on these places.
