Just a quick update on my life right now… Freya (my Grand Design 2600RB travel trailer) is in getting repairs and warranty work. I was 10 days away from from trading her in for a LANCE trailer but when I got all the paper work the unit was too heavy. Off the lot, it had 750lbs of extras and would be too heavy. After asking friends and posting on social media channels I have found an acreage to park on for the summer. It has no power or water or sewage – YET! I am going to have to do some work and get some quotes from contractors or I will just boondock for the summer. I committed to one year. And I am halfway there. I said I would give this 100% before I made up my mind so that I would know that I gave it everything I had. This has really been a roller coaster of emotions and new experiences. I still feel like I have no idea what I am doing but the challenges have made me stronger. Life was not supposed to be like this… but it is funny how every time we make plans life gets in the way. I might not have done this the ‘right way’ or the ‘best way’ or the way that most other people would have done things but I have figured it out.
